It’s a gorgeous March day in North Carolina. The trees took a vote and decided to bloom within one week so I’m looking out my office window onto our street which has turned into a fairyland with cherry trees, pear trees and the dogwood wooing me outside again.
Spring reminds us of spring cleaning, remodeling and for some, putting their house up on the market. I am still looking for a moving tip or a house-selling tip. Remember the winner gets a Lowe’s gift card. I mean, I spare no expense with that $25.00 card coming out of my own pocket. I (I know, I’m sucha a great person) So fire up your computer and SEND ME YOUR IDEAS.
Yours for a sane move, and finding community wherever you are,
Carol

Before you decide to move into a neighborhood drive around and wave at the people who are outside. If they wave back it’s a good sign.
When packing up the truck make sure to pack the stuff you’ll need first ( toiletries, clothes, etc.) near the front. Last thing you want to do after a move is looking for your toothbrush.
Packing your truck is easier if you have all the same size boxes. When you arrive at your new home put the boxes you don’t need right away in the garage. Only bring in a couple at a time so you don’t have a maze of boxes in your way.
