“Zig Ziglar says, “Desire is the ingredient that changes the warm water of mediocrity to the steam of outstanding success.”
It is only a a few degrees of temperatures that makes us successful in life. It is up to us to decide if we will drift along and get by in or crank up the themostat and get down to pursuing our goals.
When we move, one of our goals should be to find a community where we fit. It’s easy to hang around the house and chill out when we first relocate. We watch a few programs, unpack a few boxes and check our email. But times a wastin’. The first few weeks of a move gives us a timely gift: momentum. It’s during those first months after relocation that we have have more of a passion for meeting our neighbors or checking the paper for local groups to join.
Make this new move a sucessful one. Put down that box of Christmas ornaments and go explore your new home town. The Christmas decorations will still be there for you but your zest for your new location won’t.
